FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Beyond Midnight Software releases EjectDisk
3.0 Contact: Jason Anderson Hobart, TAS -- 20 January, 1999 -- Beyond Midnight Software announced today that EjectDisk 3.0 was available for download. Saving Macintosh users all over the world time and effort when it comes to ejecting disks, EjectDisk allows the user to set up key combinations to eject floppy disks, CD-ROMs or Zip/SyQuest/Jaz disks, no matter what program the user is in. EjectDisk can also eject any CDs still in the computer when the the computer is shut down. EjectDisk 3.0 has been totally rewritten from the ground up, eliminating problems experienced on PowerPC machines running MacOS 8 or later. IDE device support (for CD-ROM and Zip/Jaz drives) has been added, along with support for magneto-optical (MO) drives. Changes have also been made to how key combinations are set up, allowing users more flexibility than ever before. EjectDisk is shareware, with a registration fee of $10 US.
